By accessing or using Calorix, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Calorix is an AI-powered calorie tracking application that allows users to log meals by taking photos of their food. Our AI analyzes the images to provide estimated nutritional information including calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat content.

3. Disclaimer

Important: Calorix provides nutritional estimates based on AI analysis of food photos. These estimates are approximations and should not be relied upon for medical, dietary, or health decisions. Always consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian for personalized nutrition advice.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate information when creating your account
Keep your login credentials secure
Use the service only for its intended purpose
Not upload inappropriate or illegal content
Not attempt to reverse engineer or compromise our systems

5. Intellectual Property

The Calorix service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Calorix and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of photos you upload, but grant us a license to process them for providing our service.

6. Limitation of Liability

Calorix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service, if any.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the app. Continued use of Calorix after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Subscriptions and Payments

Calorix offers auto-renewable subscription plans:

Monthly subscription at $9.99/month
Yearly subscription at $99.99/year

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
